Electric Performance

The Jaguar I-PACE will run on one of the most advanced electric engines ever developed. As a result, the standard engine will produce a mammoth 400 hp and rocket from 0-60 mph in a lightning fast 4.0 seconds. The standard engine on the current Tesla Model X can only deliver 328 hp and takes closer to 6.0 seconds to reach 60 mph.

Design

The Tesla Model X shows off a lot of high-tech features, but is less accomplished in terms of overall automotive design. As a result, it is not nearly as comfortable, convenient, or stylish as it could be. Even though the Jaguar I-PACE is a next-generation automobile, it’s being developed by one of the world’s foremost automakers. Expect it to show off the sophisticated style, flawless attention to detail, and overall commitment to excellence for which the brand is legendary.

Size

It’s true that the Model X can hold seven passengers overall, but since it relies on three rows of seating, every seat in back feels cramped and uncomfortable, especially over long distances. The Jaguar I-PACE has been smartly limited to five seats so that there is plenty of leg and shoulder room for backseat passengers, as well as lots of cargo room even when you have every seat occupied.
